Green Hommus and Crudité

This is something I have most evenings as a little appetiser while I’m making supper or as a starter.  I love having this as it is delicious, filling and you can choose whatever seasonal vegetables you feel like. 

Serves 4
Preparation time 15mins

1 Avocado, peeled roughly chopped
15 Fresh basil leaves
20g fresh spinach chopped
15g Kale roughly chopped
1 x 400g tin of chickpeas in water, rinsed well and drained
2 Tablespoons of tahini
4 Tablespoons of olive oil
1 Small lemon take the zest off with a zester
2 Lemons juiced
1 Clove of garlic, roughly chopped
A large pinch of Maldon salt
A Good grind of black pepper

Put the above ingredients into a food blender and mix until smooth and creamy
Can be stored in a glass jar for up to 3 days in your fridge
